I love this book and wish I had it before we took our first trip to Disneyland. It definitely would have saved some tears and we would have known Mr. Toad's Wild Ride is a little much for my 3 year old. With our second trip to Disneyland right around the corner I'm gathering all the info I can to make this the best trip ever, with little ones in tow. Tear-Free in Disneyland is full of super helpful information, that is bound to make this a "magical" vacation. I love all the detail given on each ride, now we can make sure to pick the right rides for each kid. Also love the free ride height chart. So cute and what a time saver! Love, Love, Love this book. So glad I found it!

I am a season pass holder at Disneyland, and have been for a few years. I go about 25 times a year. As I was preparing to visit with a family that we're very close with that has 3 kids, I read this as part of my research. THIS BOOK SAVED US! I have since shared the info with one other family, that chose not to follow any of the advice. Their trip was much less successful than ours, to put it mildly. I really can't recommend this book enough. I should also mention that I read 3 books in preparation for our trip, and this one was by far the best.

Growing up in SoCal, I have been to Disneyland many many times. However, Disneyland with children makes for a very different experience. Every paragraph of this little gem is filled with simple, amazing life saving tips! My childs balloon pops??! I can have it replaced no charge?!! WHO KNEW!? I am so so excited! And being a veteran Disneylander I loved the pieces of history I can pass along to my child; the light left on in Walts apartment? Hidden Mickeys? Petrified trees? etc. I am so prepared and because of the detailed attraction list so is my daughter! My next trip is going to be AMESOME thanks to this! The smallest most comprehensive guide ever. Thank you!

I don't have children, I have worked in the Disney parks, and have visited Disneyland each year for the past 20 years, and I still bought this and learned a TON from it. I LOVE THIS BOOK. This is the one stop shop for you and your little ones before you embark on your magical journey. I'm bringing it with me on my trip there next week, and putting it in my boyfriend's backpack so he can learn more in line on his first trip there! It's great, because it's small enough to pack away anywhere, but chock-full of information. It's also updated each year when new attractions open and you can get the Kindle version for just 99¢ when you purchase your print copy at Amazon! Talk about magical. Seriously. Buy this book.

I originally bought this book for my sister, who admitted she wasn't exactly "tear-free" the last time she took her kids to Disneyland. After reading it myself, I have to say that not only is this book one of the most amazing guides to anything ever, it inspires better parenting, even outside the park. Informative, entertaining, and simply a joy to read, this is a must-have for anyone going to the Magic Kingdom. You'll be begging the author to write a Tear Free in Europe, or Tear Free Anywhere you are taking the family!

We are planning a trip to Disneyland this summer with our four children and thought this book would be helpful and would give some good advice on how to avoid those bad moments that families sometimes experience at the "happiest place on earth". This was a great book and was also a quick read, unlike the other tour books we have tried to read. It's easy to follow, there's some humor to it, and has great tips and advice for families. I really thought the chapter on dining at Disney was helpful and gave a lot of information as to the average cost and what types of food was served at the various 'eateries'. If you are planning a trip to Disneyland for your family, I definitely recommend this book.

Fun, easy to use guidebook. This little book is the perfect pocket/stroller companion for your Disneyland trip. There is great information for first-timers but those who have been before will find it helpful as well. The ride guides are great–even if you don't have young children. It's fun to read and would make a great little gift for anyone planning a trip to Disneyland (hint-hint: it encourages inviting the grandparents along!)
